Deputy Registrar (Administration)/ Assistant Librarian (Group – A)Job Opportunity At IISER Tirupati

1. Name of the post : Deputy Registrar (Administration) – (Group – A) (on deputation basis for an initial period of three years)

Number of posts and Category : 01 – UR

Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale from a recognized University / Institute.

Experience: i) 9 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Pay Level - 10 (Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/- as per 6th CPC) and above with experience in educational administration. OR ii) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education. OR iii) 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or equivalent. 

Desirable : Qualification in area of Management / Law and experience in handling computerized administration / legal / financial / establishment matters.

Age : Preferably below 45 years as on closing date of advertisement.

2. Name of the post : Assistant Librarian (Group – A)

Number of posts and Category : 01 – UR

Essential educational qualifications and experience :  i) Master’s Degree in Library Science / information Science / Documentation Science with at least 60% marks or an equivalent Professional degree or its equivalent with equivalent grade (6.5 in 10-point scale) or its equivalent grade of 'B'. in the UGC seven-point scale and a consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service. ii) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. However, candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment Assistant Librarian.

Desirable : i) PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent. ii) NET/SLET/SET qualified candidates shall be preferred.

Age : Not more than 35 years as on closing date of advertisement 

3. Name of the post : Private Secretary (Group – B)

Number of posts and Category : 01 – UR

Essential educational : 12th standard Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board. Minimum speed of 100 w.p.m. in stenography

Desirable : Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with proficiency in English, Hindi and all MS-Office applications

Age : Not more than 36 years as on closing date of advertisement.
