To take stock of all good practices followed in east and implement the same in North
Conduct Safety meetings with logistics channel partners on a quarterly basis
Monitor status of safety indicators on a weekly basis, take steps to control in case of violations
Attend Safety gate meetings once a quarter and conduct regular engagements with drivers and contract workers

Operations:

Coordination with Sales and manufacturing teams to obtain the monthly dispatch and production plan
To develop monthly dispatch plan based on optimization of linkages for maximizing contribution
To meet the monthly Dispatch target
Relationship Management with Railways / transporters /Handling Agents.
Recommend rates for Handling agents and transporters, based on negotiation and benchmarking with competition

Cost Control :

To develop monthly dispatch plan based on optimization of linkages for maximizing contribution
To fore-cast yearly and monthly Distribution Cost, monitor and achieve the sam
Monitor weekly cost updates from regions and plants and make necessary corrections to achieve monthly targets
Benchmarking of handling rates, freight and godown rentals on a quarterly basis

Customer orientation:

Ensure Zero sales loss to the BU, due to non availability of material on time
Ensure 100% customer satisfaction (internal as well as external)
