Job Description

DGM –Project Development and Regulatory Affairs PowerSector

Our client is aleading distributed energy company and a part of a Global Energy conglomerate.For their Renewable Energy Business, they are now seeking a DGM – Project Developmentand Regulatory Affairs who would would be based in Gurgaon

  • 10 years’ experience in power sector
  • Should be able to represent theclient in meetings with middle to senior levels at Regulator, Utilities etc,eg. Director, MD, Chairman
  • Should understand power sector interms of what is doable and what is not, the structure, power markets, ERC’sworkings, EA Act, Electricity Rules. Use this understanding to build thestrategy (and its implementation) for converting opportunity to real projects
  • Street smart and Love of labour.Should not look down any aspect of project development. Role will span frombusiness identification, say a new state in open access, to handing over theproject ready for Construction to Construction team. High level of ownership
  • Will have to roll his/her sleevesand get down to work whenever required and operate across the band, from an Ex.En to MD, when required. Extensive travelling when required
  • Excellent communication skills,written (atleast English) and spoken (both English and Hindi)
