Job Description

Role Summary:
Baker Hughes has a new opportunity for Digital Leader to join the team in Bangalore, India.
Key Responsibilities :

Provide strategic leadership to Digital CoE, by working closely with India TPS Engg leader, peers and stakeholders across the different products, trains, services, quality & operations executing on the digitization strategy thru seamless digital thread, analytics, AI etc. to enable execution & lean excellence.
Provide Overall Technology & People leadership in Bangalore/Hyderabad in terms of digital adoption, penetration, employee experience, operational leadership, and overall people responsibility from a standpoint of capability growth through people development and strategic investments.
Ensure a culture of innovation and business outcome driven development across the Org to drive best productivity, speed & insights for future.
Provide operational leadership to the priority programs to ensure that goals are achieved and delivered with due process laid by DT infra teams, quality within the agreed time and cost.
Ensure the optimal application of digital technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements.
Explore newer digital technologies for possible collaboration with start-up thru proof of concept across globe to promote cross pollination of ideas & Innovation.
Work closely with key stakeholders to ideate opportunities to digitize, prioritize, secure funds in line with roadmap laid for digital penetration & adoption.

Basic Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters Degree in an engineering discipline or another comparable technical field.
Minimum 12 years of experience, 8 of which in a leadership role of engineering design management and/or technology leadership experience, including multi-discipline engineering and/or cross-functional experience.
Significant design process experience in the areas of turbo-machinery products/train sub-systems

Desired Qualifications

Prior experience successfully anticipating risk and creating effective contingency plans.
Prior experience managing big engineering teams covering multi-disciplinary technology areas
Prior experience effectively aligning an organization’s mission, strategy and direction with vision.
Prior experience effectively creating an environment that encourages innovation and appropriate yet courageous risk-taking.
Prior experience promoting collaboration and removing obstacles to effective teamwork across the business.
Demonstrated ability to hire, coach and develop professional teams of engineers
Ability to drive business solutions through influence and collaboration in a global, matrix organization. An impact player with proven ability to drive change in an effective and participative manner.
Six Sigma GB certification/DFSS/DMAIC
Black Belt Six Sigma Certification (for BH employees only).
