Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collecting and analyzing financial statements, company filings, market data, and other relevant information to assess company performance and industry trends
2. Conducting primary research on the ground for target companies and industries
3. Monitoring and tracking news, events, and developments related to assigned companies and industries, providing timely updates to the research team
4. Generating stock ideas backed by research
5. Performing valuation analysis and financial modeling
6. Attending conference calls and management meets
7. Developing and maintaining new investing and trading strategies
8. Staying up-to-date with market trends, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions

Requirements:

1. Passionate about equity markets
2. Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and identify key metrics and trends
3. Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
4. Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and valuation techniques
5. Good communication skills - written and verbal
6. Extremely self-motivated and goal-driven, with a great attitude to learn and adapt
7. An avid reader
