Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced Fitter to join our team at a pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing company. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of machinery used in pharmaceutical production facilities. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and assembly, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry.

Total no. of Vacancy: 5 Persons Required

Responsibilities:

·        Assemble and fit together components and parts according to engineering drawings and specifications to construct pharmaceutical machinery and equipment.

·        Perform precision fitting and alignment of parts to ensure smooth operation and functionality of machinery.

·        Install and commission machinery at customer sites, ensuring proper setup and functioning in accordance with specifications.

·        Conduct inspections and quality control checks during the assembly process to identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies.

·        Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs or adjustments to machinery as needed to maintain optimal performance.

·        Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design or manufacturing issues and improve product quality and efficiency.

·        Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

·        Maintain accurate records of work performed, including assembly processes, component inventory, and maintenance activities.

·        Assist in the training and development of junior fitters and apprentices as needed.

Requirements:

·        Proven experience as a Fitter, with a strong background in mechanical assembly and fitting, preferably in the pharmaceutical machinery manufacturing industry.

·        Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

·        Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues independently.

·        Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in mechanical assembly and fitting.

·        Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship, with a commitment to producing high-quality products.

·        Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

·        Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy machinery and components. Willingness to travel occasionally for installation and commissioning projects at customer sites.

·        Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Previous experience working with pharmaceutical machinery or equipment.
