We are seeking an experienced AS400 / RPGLE Developer with strong expertise in IBM i application development, enhancement, and production support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RPGLE programming, DB2/400, CLLE, and IBM i system operations, along with a strong background in application maintenance and modernization initiatives.
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform
Develop and modify programs using RPGLE (Free & Fixed format), CLLE, and SQLRPGLE
Work extensively with DB2/400, including table design, query optimization, and performance tuning
Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
Perform debugging, unit testing, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables
Provide production support, issue analysis, defect fixing, and root cause resolution
Handle application enhancements and modernization based on evolving business needs
Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams, business users, and stakeholders
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and adhere to SDLC / Agile processes
