Mandatory/Primary Skills  In depth knowledge of LAN and desktop system administration in a Linux / Windows environment.  Should have expertise on switching (L2) , routing (L3),security protocols for both wireless and wired Ethernet networks.  Expertise in administering engineering tools such as multi-site hosted configuration management tools, server-based hardware and software development tools, including but not limited to editors, compilers, front end license / user management, ERP tools, Anti-virus / anti-malware / anti-hacking and IT infrastructure protection tools etc.  Should be familiar in writing automated scripts and be well versed with related scripting languages.  Should be an expert in both server side and client-side operating systems, with in-depth knowledge of files systems, data bases such as My SQL, database management. Knowledge of middle ware will be a plus.  Must be knowledgeable in remote infrastructure management (RIM)tools, Virtual Private Networks, firewalls (Check Point),Video Conferencing, Webcasting, email servers, Domain named servers  Should be familiar with SAN / NAS, backup technologies and create daily, weekly, monthly back up plans. Must be familiar with IT Infrastructure required for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Process  Should be a diligent person who is willing to understand that IT Infrastructure is the backbone of the organization and that its upkeep, safety and security cannot be compromised.  Should be able to generate IT reports and MIS data to top management. Experience in working for ISO 27001 certified companies will be a huge plus.  Must be able to work with WAN Service providers, Telecom Service providers and be able to represent company needs as clearly and firmly as possible. Must be a good thinker, a good articulator and a good negotiator with vendors. Must ensure that all services are available to an uptime of 99.5%.  Must have a network of connections in the field of IT, in order to source various IT components required for the company, including consumables.  Must be willing to look beyond current skill and capabilities and be willing to exhibit solid learning while working on the job. Must have good use of common sense.  Application programming skills will be a huge plus.  Accountable for Failure to meet EHS requirement, report incidents, follow defined process, meet set objective and targets.
