Qualcomm has a world leading Patent portfolio and we are looking for expert software developers/engineers to add to the team that builds systems to manage the inventions and patents that our creative engineers generate. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a global team of software engineers to build reliable, scalable software applications using Java, Angular, SOLR, Python and AWS. These applications will power web applications and analytic dashboards to allow us to better understand our world leading patent portfolio. You are a technical thought leader with a perspective on how to build great data products. You will adopt and help evolve our engineering best practices. You are a master in java and JavaScript skills and are passionate about writing clean, supportable code. Strong AWS skills. You have strong data modeling skills. You design structures that are adaptable to changes in the source data or business processes. You are an advocate for data quality. You have a strong opinion on when data audits, unit tests, and documentation can be most effective. You have strong communication skills to effectively partner with data scientists, legal and engineering stakeholders. You are curious about the rapidly evolving technologies. You are eager to learn and master new tech when it can have a big impact on our team. You are able to operate both independently and collaboratively. The job will involve exposure to: Full stack development in Java Web Applications, with experience in UI development using web technologies. Development in Java 8, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Strong in server-side design principles Development in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES6 and TypeScript. Also, one or more of JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React.js etc. Development experience in a BDD or TDD approach Knowledge and experience in AWS, Cloud & Micro Services Requirement analysis, design, code reviews, deployments etc along with development Product development and unit testing frameworks. 

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 10+ years
