Job Description

No and Name of Position : One (01): Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Associate -I

Project Name : Entrepreneurial skill development in rural women through imparting scientific knowledge in Poultry and livestock sector, funded by DBT, Govt. of India.

Essential Qualification / : Masters Degree in Natural or Agricultural Science,/MVSC/Computer science from a recognised university or equivalent as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z05/2019 of DST dated 10.07.2020. 

Desirable work Experience : Good interactive and communication skills, basic knowledge about livestock and poultry rearing practices, familiarity about ICT and computer knowledge. Experience in extension activities.

Emoluments : ₹.31,000/-Month + HRA for candidates with NET Qualification ₹. 25,000/- month + HRA for candidate without NET.

Age limit : Maximum 35 years

About Company

The establishment of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University was the culmination of efforts during the period, 1955 to 2006 to strengthen   education and services in the fields of Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology and Fishery Science in the State of Andhra Pradesh.  The establishment of three Veterinary Colleges, the first at Rajendranagar during 1946, the second at Bapatla during 1955 and the third at Gannavaram during 1998, paved the way for strengthening Veterinary education in the State.  The Veterinary College at Bapatla was shifted to Tirupati during December, 1957.
