Job Description

ADVT/RecT/01/2020

Junior Research Fellow (1 No.)

Funding Agency, Title, Period of the Project & Post Code SERB Sponsored Project (SP-309) : 'Understanding the regulation of Fog dependent GPCR signaling in the Drosophila CNS' 

Qualifications Essential:(i) M. Sc. (1st Class) in life science including Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry etc. (ii) Applicant must be qualified in any one of the following tests: CSIR/UGC/ICMR including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) OR GATE. National Level examination DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc., IISER etc. 

Desirable: (i) Should have laboratory experience in molecular biology, handling and working with Drosophila with knowledge of Drosophila genetics.

Monthly stipend Rs.31000/-+ HRA

Age limit (as on date of interview) Upto 28 years for General Category. Age relaxation of upto 5 years (Upto 33 years) for SC/ST/Differently abled/women candidates and 3 years (Upto 31 years) for OBC (Non-creamy layer),candidates selected through DBT-BET 2020 shall also be considered for age relaxation as applicable.
