Chefs and head cooks typically do the following:

  • Check freshness of food and ingredients
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers and in taking care of Preparing Restaurant's Signatures Dishes.
  • Develops new recipes and determine how to present the food
  • Plan menu and ensure uniform serving sizes and quality of meals
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
  • Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers
  • Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
  • Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards.
Pastry Chefs JD
  • Preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
  • Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
  • Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
