LEAD VIRTUAL WORKPLACE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT 1

Location: Pune, Maharashtra, IN

Job Description :

Creating service solution architecture and service design based on modern Virtual Workplace solutions (Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, VMWare Horizon/Mirage)
Analyzing existing IT infrastructure
Advising on service solution
Creating technical service documentation for new services
Presenting the solution to customer (service demo)
Coordinating service setup in the customer environment
Supporting Proof of Concept for new services/technologies

Job Requirements

IT architect experience – service architect
Ability to translate architecture/design into real implementation
Virtual Workplace experience proven by real implementation projects
Practical knowledge of the following technologies: Citrix IMA, DFS-R, DHCP, DNS, MS GPO, SQL clustering
Being familiar with hypervisor solutions (XenServer, HyperV, VMWare)
Architecture experience in designing and implementing High-Availability, distributed systems
Knowledge and experience in storage architecture and related problems – performance, scaling High-Availability
Ability to support multiple business needs at once and work with little oversight
Ability to solve problems and proactive attitude
Capability to read and write technical documentation
Ability to work well in a team
High motivation to self-development
Good interpersonal skills and customer handling skills
Highly proficient in spoken and written English
Good knowledge of the German (verbal and writing) is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server is a plus
Knowledge of Citrix products (Netscaler, XenMobile) is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM product is a plus
