Implement Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management strategy and plans, including resource, systems, timelines, financials, to support, contribute to, and integrate within, the organization’s annual business plan and long term strategy.

Implement and review site specific OHS and Environmental Objective & Targets.

Development of new safety procedures and review and revision of existing procedures to ensure compliance.

To ensure EMS operates at optimum level effectively.

To assess risks and hazards and make effective recommendations for action and correction.

Perform detailed, technical, safety, hazard and environmental research including accident analysis and prevention techniques.

Coordinate and consult with the various plant heads regarding health and safety issues in their respective areas and take appropriate actions.

Insure preparation of Safety Manuals, training outlines and employee instructions for work deemed to have recognized hazards.

To ensure fire and safety appliances /equipments are in healthy and periodical inspection testing, calibration as per OEM guideline / IS / international standard practices.

 Planning and execution of safety mock drills, Fire Drills and training programs.

Prepare the documents on emergency situation/mass causalities, assess and classify the emergency situation for future preparation

Employees and workers are being made aware about associated hazard and Precautions w.r.t activities.

Comply Statutory and non statutory compliance

Conduct internal and third party external safety audit and ensures compliance to recommendations.

Interact with site personnel to assure technical information is accurately reported to national and state agencies.

Plan and manage co-ordination with regulatory agencies to maintain all necessary environmental and safety regulatory licenses and permits, to include timely renewals and payments.
