National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corp. (NBCFDC) was incorporated on 13.01.1992 as a company not for profit under Section 25 of the companies Act, 1956 with the objective to promote economic and development activities for the benefit of the members of backward classes living below double the poverty line income limit. NBCFDC is a Schedule 'C' CPSE in Financial Services sector with the administrative jurisdiction of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. Its Registered and Corporate offices are at New Delhi. The company employed 53 regular employees (Executives: 20, Non-Executives: 33) as on 31.3.2020. The authorized and paid up capital of the Company was Rs. 1500 Crores and Rs. 1444 Crores respectively as on 31.03.2020. The shareholding of the Government of India in the company is 100% as on 31.03 2020.
1. Job Description And Responsibilities: Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Corporation and accountable to its Board of Directors & Govt. of India. He/She is responsible for all the activities of the Corporation including personnel, financial and commercial management, corporate planning and project implementation. He/She is responsible for the effectiveness of the organisation in the pursuit of the Corporation's goals and objectives and in particular for the performance and supervision of the technical, administrative and day to day operations of the Corporation.
2. Qualification: Applicant should be a graduate with good academic record from a recognized University/ Institution. Applicants with Technical/ MBA qualifications will have added advantage.
3. Experience: Applicants should possess adequate experience at a senior level of management in a large organization of repute. Applicant with experience in Finance/Marketing/Production/Projects will have an added advantage. Experience in Project Financing is desirable
