About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
2. Answer questions about product offerings of the company
3. Ask questions to understand customer requirements and enable sales closure
4. Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
5. Enter and update customer information in the database
6. Take and process orders in an accurate manner
7. Handle queries to the best of knowledge to preserve the company's reputation
8. Go that 'extra mile' to meet the sales quota and facilitate future sales
9. Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 18th Feb'21 and 25th Mar'21

3. are available for duration of 2 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Must have proven experience as a telesales representative or in other sales/marketing roles

2. Must have a proven track record of successfully exceeding sales quota preferably over the phone

3. Must have good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. MS Office) and phone etiquettes

4. Must have the ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects

5. Must have excellent knowledge of English and Tamil (full professional fluency in both languages would be preferred)

6. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

7. Must be cool-tempered and should be able to handle rejection

8. Must have outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to handle issues and queries

9. Must have a laptop with a Wi-Fi connection

10. Must be willing to work 6 days a week with Sunday as an off
