Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Perform various laboratory techniques, such as DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and DNA sequencing.
2. Assist in the design and execution of experiments to investigate gene expression and protein interactions.
3. Conduct data analysis using software tools and assist in the interpretation of experimental results.
4. Maintain accurate records of experiments, protocols, and results to ensure data integrity.
5. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot experimental procedures and optimize protocols.
6. Stay updated with current scientific literature and attend team meetings to discuss research findings.
7. Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
