Job Description :
- Active participation in the development and delivery of structured patient education programmes in both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes patients.
- Train patients effectively on carbohydrate counting and supporting individuals with Type 1 diabetes to titrate their insulin dose accordingly
- Providing specialist care to young people, pregnant women. Gestational diabetes patients are high priority groups; should be able to work closely with them in providing tight glycaemic control during pregnancy.
- Providing assessment prior to insulin initiation for people with diabetes and offering support during the process, especially with regard to glycaemic control and weight management
- Developing patient education materials and tools for events organized by the management team and doctors.
