An Ops NPE (Network Planning & Engineering) role typically involves managing and optimizing network operations, ensuring service delivery, and contributing to network planning and expansion. Responsibilities often include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with other teams to improve network efficiency and customer experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Monitoring and Performance Management:
• Continuously monitoring network performance using various tools and dashboards to identify and address issues proactively. 
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
• Diagnosing and resolving network problems, including those that may span across different teams or verticals, and ensuring timely resolution. 
• Service Management and Optimization:
• Ensuring the smooth operation of digital channels and services, including infrastructure and service delivery, and optimizing performance to meet KPIs and SLAs. 
• Change Management:
• Managing changes to the network infrastructure and services, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Working closely with other teams, including development, operations, and business units, to resolve issues and implement changes. 
• Network Planning and Expansion:
• Contributing to the planning and execution of network expansions and upgrades, including site selection, capacity planning, and technology evaluation. 
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and performance metrics, and generating regular reports. 

Skills and Experience:

• Strong Technical Background:
• Solid understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies (4G/5G). 
• Experience with Monitoring Tools:
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, or similar systems. 
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues. 
• Knowledge of Telecom Infrastructure:
• Understanding of telecom infrastructure, including fiber optics, transmission equipment, and network architecture. 
• Communication and Collaboration Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to various audiences. 
• Project Management Skills:
• Experience in planning and executing network projects, including managing timelines, resources, and budgets. 
• Leadership and Team Management:
• Experience in leading and managing teams, especially in geographically dispersed locations.
