About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work independently and collaboratively to complete design projects on specific products across our product line
2. Manage the company's overall brand design and ensuring continuity through all design projects
3. Sketch ideas or create renderings, which are images on paper or on a computer that provides a visual of design ideas
4. Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs
5. Create physical prototypes of their designs
5. Examine materials and manufacturing requirements to determine production costs
6. Work with other specialists, such as mechanical engineers, to evaluate whether their design concepts will fill needs at a reasonable cost
7. Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical
8. Consult various stakeholder about design requirements
9. Clarify and solve design issues
10. Investigate appropriate materials and production processes
11. Maintain an awareness of current design trends and influences
12. Correct product faults
13. Present designs for the internal team and capturing various designs from them
14. Research the various ways a particular product might be used, and who will use it
