Department Overview

Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) team develops and supports software applications, databases and business services; manage test, release and process functions to ensure quality delivery of projects; deliver technical support services.

About The Role

Program Associate works on development using Java /J2EE technologies. The candidate will work in contact center technologies on IVR systems. Good to have knowledge on Machine learning, VXML, functional testing and test automation of IVR applications and prior experience on contact center.

Responsibilities

Working on an Agile and collaborative environment with business users and other technology partners
Expert in JAVA programming And Machine Learning
Expertise in development of Java and Machine Learning applications.
Analyze business requirements/FSDs and find and communicate requirement gaps
Should be accountable to one's project deliverables
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
Participates in code reviews, design reviews and refactoring discussions with multiple domain and delivery teams to ensure high quality deliverable, aligned with standards and best practices
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Hands on Programming, unit testing and building high quality application that is manageable, reliable and maintainable
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Very good debugging and troubleshooting skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good team player

Essential Qualifications

Bachelors in Engineering
Strong understanding in telecommunications technologies, including TDM and IP based phone switches, VOIP, CTI, and IVR
Extensive experience in leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners
Experience in working with Agile Squads
Experience in application development using JAVA and Machine Learning modules
Expertise in IVR Application testing
Must have strong understanding of the SDLC and Testing life cycle

2+ Years of Strong Application development experience in the following areas:

Java/J2ee
JSP & JAVA Script
Spring MVC
Hibernate
Subversion

Desired Qualifications

Good to have hands-on experience on test automation frameworks
Should have experience in build tools like Ant or Maven and Continuous integration using Jenkins
Should have hands on experience in working with version controls systems such as SVN, GitHub
