JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Building Automation System Engineer will design and/or program a complete Building Automation System including integration to other low voltage control sub‐systems to meet the intent of the project requirements. This includes providing detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants, subcontractors and the field installation team.
2. Designing a complete system, with the integration of Lighting, Audio/Visual,Air,conditioning and Ventilation system, including ELV system like Access Control system, CCTV, Home Automation, Door Locking system & Home Cinemas etc.
3. To take full responsibility for the complete testing where required, including ensuring all documentation is completed, including any changes or amendments to the site documents within project timeframes.
4. Design and configure technically complex Building Automation Systems as defined by the contract documents. Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts and electrical schematics as required.
5. Design and develop panel layouts, network layouts, wiring diagrams per customer and/or company standards.
6. Program and configure integration between multiple vendors using open (KNX/EIB),BACnet, Zigbee, Modbus and proprietary software. Configure system database for reporting, alarming and monitoring of Building Automation Systems
7. Preparing control network layouts, IFC estimation, riser diagrams and technical submittals.
8. Design and commissioning visual interface platform for full monitoring and control for KNX and DALI lighting control system over NETx Automation.
SKILLS :
Electrical /Electronic Engineer degree holder with at least 3 years’ experience in the field of the Home Automation and KNX. Knowledge of protocols that could be used for lighting control like DMX/RDM, DALI, CAN, USB, BACnet, KNX, and Light Link transmitted via physical layers of Ethernet (IEEE 802.3),WIFI (IEEE 802.11),Bluetooth and Zigbee (IEEE 802.15).
2. In depth knowledge of Lighting and load calculations
3. Knowledgeable in ETS Software and AutoCAD
4. In depth knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
5. Normally at least 3 years’ experience in the field of the Home Automation and KNX. Knowledge of protocols that could be used for lighting control like DMX/RDM, DALI, CAN, USB, BACnet, KNX, and Light Link transmitted via physical layers of Ethernet (IEEE 802.3),WiFi (IEEE 802.11),Bluetooth and Zigbee (IEEE 802.15)
