Job Description

Planning and scheduling of testing demands for worldwide customer requirements and implementation of Latest trends of V&V to Project.
Responsible for complete ownership of the project from requirement to delivery.
Achieve results within the approved project schedules, estimated costs /efforts and quality plan.
Lead and motivate the team to achieve the project goals and customer expectation.
Make sure Test Systems and accessories are available and all are in working state to facilitate team to perform the tests without affecting their schedule. Should able to handle dynamic testing requirements of the customer.
Co-ordinate with the TCP’s, process responsible, Process Assistant and the team to implement the new changes on the test specification and rolling out for the all the customer projects.
Regular communication to the Stakeholders on the project status, escalations, risk etc.
Cost effective solutions on purchasing of new hardware and do the deep drill analysis of the requirements before the decision.
Obtain acceptance from customer for the delivered work product and collection of customer feedback. Analyze and improve the situation then and there
Effective collection of testing metric and thus improving the test effectiveness and add value to the customers.
Improve the process and productivity of the team.
Should able to handle the team size of more than 12 Members.
Recruit, plan training and maintain healthy DE for all associate in team.
Get advance projection from customer about resource requirement and plan recruitment or Outsource based on Dept. strategic planning.
Be first point of contact for customer in case of any escalation and resolve on priority.
Judge HW infrastructure(Lab) requirement in advance and facilitate procurement and adequate loading.

Qualifications

Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent
Theoretical and practical project management knowledge
Handling multi location team and customer with intercultural sensitivity
Knowledge of Project management techniques and tools.
Excellent Communication and presentation skills.
Strong project management, People Management and Leadership skills
Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
Proficiency in project management software tools
Good knowledge of the SW development life cycle (Preferably experience in verification and validation projects)
Automotive Embedded Knowledge / Experience (Preferably on Power train domain)
Experienced in managing external associates and outsourcing company.
