Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics
2. Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
3. Coordinate all public relations activities
4. Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
5. Manage media inquiries and interview requests
6. Create content for press releases, by-line articles, and keynote presentations
7. Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results every quarter
8. Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis
9. Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
10. Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
11. Communicate internally and capitalize on feedback received from online & offline channels
12. Devise distinct strategies for online and offline activities, track and report the impact of these activities
13. Edit what anyone on the team might have written and (most importantly) ghost-write for us when needed
14. Organize all press meets and conferences
15. Handle all social media platforms and actively share content to gain traction/follower
16. Recruit, motivate, and retain a team to manage public affairs and client relations
