Role: Responsible for implementation of Q-processes in line with the customer requirement, Advance product quality planning (APQP),Supplier Quality assurance (SQA) processes, customer complaints & continual improvements.
Responsibility:
• Implement all relevant procedures described in the Schueco norms and ensure compliance.
• Supplier performance monitoring & evaluation of system through audits to reduce non conformances.
• First sample inspection & approval of Aluminium profiles, EPDM gaskets & other accessories.
• Product Quality control of incoming goods as per drawings & standards.
• Respond to customer complaints with containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing),and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures.
• Liaise with suppliers, internal team & customers to resolve quality issues.
• Implementation of Best practices like 5S, Safety, FIFO & Visual display at Schueco Warehouse.
• Responsible for calibration of instruments used for measurement.
• Manage, coach and develop quality engineers
• Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance.
• Responsible for driving continuous improvement culture within the organization.
• Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
• Report against agreed quality metrics on a monthly basis

Qualification & Experience level:
• Mechanical / Production / Civil engineering degree is preferred.
• 8-10 years overall experience in Production/Quality of engineering firms, preferably from a similar industry.
• Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing skills will be an advantage
• Experience in dealing with suppliers and customers
