As a Quantity Surveyor (QS) at Sankalp Dream Nest, you will be responsible for reviewing construction plans, preparing quantity requirements, and scrutinizing maintenance and material costs. You will also play a key role in evaluating contracts to ensure the best deals for the company.
Responsibilities:
● Review Construction Plans:
● Analyze construction plans and specifications to understand project requirements.
● Review drawings and technical documents to identify materials, quantities, and scope of work.
● Collaborate with the project team to clarify any ambiguities or discrepancies in the plans.
● Prepare Quantity Requirements:
● Estimate the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required for each project.
● Utilize quantity surveying techniques and software to accurately determine material requirements.
● Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for procurement and budgeting purposes.
● Scrutinize Maintenance and Material Costs:
● Evaluate maintenance and material costs to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
● Analyze different options for materials and maintenance services to achieve the best quality at the most competitive prices.
● Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate favorable terms and discounts.
● Contract Evaluation:
● Review contracts, including terms, conditions, and pricing structures.
● Identify any potential risks or inconsistencies in contracts.
● Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risks.
● Ensure Best Deals:
● Conduct market research to stay updated on current industry prices and trends.
● Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Qualifications and Skills:
● Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
● Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
