Job Description

Receptionist cum back office assistant job in hospital. Looking for sincere candidate.

Must have good communication skills. Knows basic computer knowledge. Can handle and communicate through phone calls and emails. Maintain Register & monitor Reception Area. Can handle patients and visitors.

Greeting patients and visitors, providing directions, and answering inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Scheduling and confirming patient appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
Managing patient check-in and check-out processes, including the collection of personal and insurance information.
Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to appropriate hospital staff.
Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations at all times.
Updating and organizing patient records, both electronic and paper-based, for easy access and retrieval.
Processing billing and co-payments, and providing patients with information about payment policies.
Coordinating with various hospital departments to ensure patient needs are met and operations run smoothly.
Handling administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing documents.
Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
Monitoring the reception area to ensure a clean and organized environment for patients and visitors.
Providing compassionate support and assistance to patients and their families during their visit to the hospital.
