Job description:

Knowledge in Reinsurance Operations, Accounting and Reporting:.
Working experience in GL entries, BS reconciliations, US GAAP and STAT reporting
Sub Ledger - GL reconciliation, System Reconciliations, Technical Accounting, Claims , Collections, Cash allocation, Underwriter Support etc.
Ensure delivery of processes and services that meet or exceed established KPIs
Ensure processes are properly documented, updated and reviewed regularly with a view to achieving improvements and efficiencies
Engage pro actively with stakeholders and Managers to ensure risks are identified accordingly
Support in maintaining a strong internal controls environment
Assist in internal and external auditors

Required Candidate profile:

Good understanding of Accounting Principles
Good understanding of Insurance and Reinsurance concepts for Property & Casualty Business
Understanding of reinsurance contracts and claims wordings
Excellent working experience in MS Excel, using pivot tables, v-look-ups and data management. Knowledge of MS PowerPoint, MS Access and Visio will be beneficial.
