Job Description

NIMH/PROJ/DST/KU/RA-YI/NOTIF.2020-21

National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) invites application for the position Research Assistant

“Adopting specific yoga module to reduce the burden of post COVID stress disorder among unemployed youth and recent graduates: a pilot investigative study”

No. of Post: 01

Educational Qualification: MPhil in Neurophysiology or Neurosciences/MBBS/BAMS/BNYS OR Master’s Degree in Neurosciences / Physiology or equivalent Master’s degree

Research Experience: One year Research experience in Neurophysiology/Neuroscience/Yoga

Desirable Experience: Experience in clinical evaluation of patients, collection and processing of blood samples, neurochemical investigations and cardiac autonomic function tests as well as analysis of clinical data will be preferred

Emoluments: Rs.31,000/-per month (+24% HRA)

Duration of employment: One year Initial appointment will be made for six months, extendable based on the performance of the candidate

Age Limit: Maximum Age Limit 35 years
