About client company: An ISO 9001, 2008 & BIS certified organisation , located at Kolkata , West Bengal. They have a state of the art facility to manufacture transformers up to 10 MVA 33 kV class.

They have an in-house Copper conductor manufacturing unit with 80% captive consumption requirement, which provides them an edge over our peers as it reduces our lead time & production costs significantly. Apart from our transformer & copper business, they have trading division with interest in different types of Steel & Transformer Oil.

Sales and Marketing Intern:

· Lead generation and pre-sales and should efficiently handle cold calls and other sales enquiries/ follow-ups.

· Responsible for Business Development in Power Industry Pan India.

· Key account management including Retail, EPC, PSUs and other Utility Boards.

· Candidates have to visit customers personally for sales growth.

· Sound good negotiation skills and handling sales and all documentation including Quotations, Proforma Invoicing, Issuance of Bank Guarantees and sound understanding of commercial terms for efficient overall contract management.

· Bid management and tendering. Bidding Process, Handling of RFQ/RFP, reverse auctions, comparing the Quotations, Vendor Evaluation, Managing all portals for tender purpose.

· Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for and handle all processes including test reports, type testing, inspection reports and so on for every sale/ project.

· Follow up for release of payments including LC or other form of payments. All documentation for discounting of LC.

· Coordination with Technical Team for preparation of technical specifications, Drawings, GTP and their corresponding approvals.

· Ensure smooth after-sales service to customer, address site issues and complaint handling.

· Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with all departments and customers.

· Develop and manage master production schedule and operations budgets for products to directly support and ensure that the product is delivered to agreed cost, quality and timelines

· Having worked in the Power engineering Eco-System will be preferred ( manufacturer/ EPC company )

· Proficient in English. Conversational proficiency in Hindi and any other local language.

· Proficiency in MS office, internet and other basic computer knowledge.

· Open to travel
