Job description
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
Be responsible for sales from a given territory.
Solely responsible for planning & achieving monthly/ yearly target
Payment related follow-up, customer evaluation and customer segregation according to relevant field.
Listening to customer requirements and making appropriate product suggestions to make a sale.
Identify new potential opportunities for the Business Development.
Calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
Handling all client queries for their satisfaction and for creating new business avenues.
Maintain active
communication and enhance trade relations.
Visiting the Point of Sales within the defined area periodically to ensure that
products are available and visible (properly placed),that prices are visible,
that advertising materials are in the right place, at the right time and in the
correct quantity.
Taking orders from the clients to the assortment necessary for targeted
visibility and ensuring stock at the Point of Sales.
Monitor and minimize
the level of stock returns from stores.
Overall accountable for all operational programs in the assigned area.
Build required rapport with Key accounts - store managers, store executives, purchase managers, distributors, merchandisers in the assigned territory.
Communicating all
activities/promotions to the stores to ensure their implementation
Reporting and communicating store activity.
Reporting the performance of field activities with POC details, accomplishment
of sales, agreements and retail price trends for monitoring performance
Required Candidate Profile:
A Bachelor’s Degree, at the minimum
· Should have experience of field sales (interacting with retailers, distributors)
· Ability to negotiate terms of trade
· Basic understanding of marketing skills
· Ability to create and deliver presentations
· Should be a fast learner & have good decision-making skills
· Should be passionate about sales
· Experience in FMCG is a must
· Must have a Two-Wheeler with Driving license
· Knowledge of MS Office, MIS reports, MS- Excel.
· Competency in English, Hindi and Kannada
