Role Description
The software development is done in separate Scrum/DevOps teams, that take responsibility for both
the functionality and the quality of the delivered software. The ambition is to be a true continuous
integration/delivery (CI/CD) department, which requires a hifunctionalgh level of test automation.
The Test Engineer (TE) participates in the refinement process with all stakeholders to identify risks and
define the test approach. During the Scrum sprints the TE supports the teams by developing new or
changed automated tests. In the test phase the TE will partly aid in the manual testing and setting up of
test scenarios. In the acceptance phase the TE will support the stakeholders with their acceptance tests.
Tasks and responsibilities
• Enforces the required amount of test automation, also when there is significant pressure on timely
delivery of roadmap items.
• Participate in the definition of test and quality metrics and the measurement and reporting of these.
• Deliver test criteria and test approach for all refined user stories.
• Explain the test approach to both stakeholders and developers.
• Enforce test automation in the scrum sprints, define the minimal required test coverage and reports
on coverage and performance.
• Translates (trends in) production issues into new test and quality metrics.
• Analyze new test tools and methods.
• Prevent incidents after production changes by early risk analysis and selection of test approach.
Expertise Must Have
• 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience in Salesforce Testing
• Experience in Telecom domain
• Experience in End 2 End (E2E) Telco testing (experience in Middleware like Tibco etc.)
Expertise Nice to Have
Experience in Agile way of working for telecom
Knowledge on tool MS TFS (Team foundation server) for Test and Backlog management, version
control and CI/CD is added advantage
Experience in Test Automation (RPA)
Experience in communicating with European clients
