Job Description

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following purely temporary positions in Project Management Unit (PMU) in the DBT Multi-institutional project “Characterization of chickpea germplasm resource to accelerate genomics-assisted crop improvement”, under the mission program of “Characterization of genetic resources” under the supervision of Dr. Subhra Chakraborty, Director, NIPGR.

Scientific Administrative Assistant (one post)

Emoluments: Rs. 18000/- plus 24% HRA as sanctioned in the project.

Upper Age limit:- 50 years

Qualification: Candidates having a Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks are eligible to apply.

Candidates having prior experience in day-to-day general administrative and financial management-related works in any research laboratories/institutions will be given preference.

Basic computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office tools is desirable.
