Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Execute tests, analyze data, and identify trends to optimize paid search campaigns
2. Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives
3. Manage campaign expenses, estimate costs, and reconcile discrepancies
4. Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
5. Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
6. Research and implement SEO recommendations, including link-building strategies
7. Ensure SEO best practices are implemented on new code
8. Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams for SEO-driven content creation
9. Recommend changes to improve SEO positions for target keywords
Requirements:
1. Experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing
2. Solid understanding of performance marketing and online customer acquisition
3. Proficiency with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight)
4. Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin)
5. Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
6. Working knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
7. Understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
8. Up-to-date with the latest SEO and SEM trends
9. BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field
