Job Description :

• Monitor Device Availability
• Perform OS or firmware upgrade in firewall devices
• Provide administration for firewall
• Perform administration and maintenance of firewall components, /devices
• Manage access policies on all components and services and carry out changes to these policies as per Customer’s request.
• Manage and document policy or rule exceptions as and when they occur, with approval from the customer team.
• Perform basic trend analysis using customer provided tools, on the gathered logs and report the same to Customer
• Should have good understanding with extensive hands-on experience on various security technologies - Firewalls/ IDP / IPS / Proxy
• Monitoring and management of network security devices
• Configure, administer, and manage firewall infrastructure, working with Checkpoint.
• Maintain High Availability and Clustered firewall environments .
• Managing firewall through  Smart Console Dashboard.
• IDS/ IPS Threat Monitoring and Tuning on Smart Console
• Knowledge of network protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, VLAN, TCP/ IP, etc.).
• Implementing security rules and mitigating network attacks.
• Firewall troubleshooting and maintain issues.
• Responsible for resolving the issues from company and/ or vendor documented resolutions.
• Log analysis and correlation on Monthly reports.
• Coordinate with TAC support teams for escalated issues 
• Provide Support for vpn client Infrastructure.
• Policy/ Signature Reinforcement based on the requirement and alert trend.
• Provide ongoing administration and support for authentication service using RSA Secure ID and Cisco RADIUS servers for internet-based remote access vpn solution
• The Candidate MUST have production environment experience consisting of Global load balancing, Local load balancing, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression / caching, and DNS, also the candidate MUST have strong Networking Experience - TCP/IP, Administration of networking hardware.
• Create Network Firewall, Load Balancer and Websense Diagram and other documentation before handing over to operation
• Knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls,  ACL, Remote Access VPN, IPSEC VPN, NAT, PAT, Clustering
• Implement security tools, firewalls, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team.
• Good understand of HTTP & HTTPS predicted behavior as well as read the packet content to create or modify custom settings on such behavior
• Understanding of the generic and the ability to create custom monitors
• Understanding of load balancing strategies/ techniques, expertise in application switching / traffic management, knowledge of persistence and SSL certificates
• Generate reports for utilization, Filtering the traffic, Pushing policies for accepting/rejecting traffic and updating the certificate.
• Should have good L1/L2 troubleshooting skills including ability to analyze TCP dumps, packet capture and should have good understanding of basic networking concepts.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, including common application protocols
• Should have good understanding of LAN/WAN technologies.
