Indian Institute of Science invites applications for the position of Senior Clinical Engineer

Emoluments: Rs. 1,00,000 + HRA (as applicable )

Essential Qualifications: BE / B Tech in Biomed/Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in a clinical engineering field ( including five years in a hospital) works, including installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, Calibration, user training & hospital accreditation.

Hands-on experience in in-house maintenance of equipment is necessary. Skills in documentation, AutoCAD & report preparation are essential.

Age: Below 40 years as of the last date for receipt of applications.

Age can also be relaxed at the discretion of the Foundation for the Candidates with experience and merit. Desirable Qualifications: ME/MTech in Clinical Engineering and Knowledge of the hospital project commissioning & procurement of equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The responsibilities of the selected candidates include (but are not limited to) supervising medical equipment (as applicable to the posts),supervising/preparing (as applicable) estimates for clinical engineering works, preparation of bills, processing invoices for payment, and carry out other works assigned by the Foundation from time to time. The candidates are also required to supervise/work (as applicable) on e-tendering, preparation of presentation materials, tender processing, etc.
