Responsibilities and Duties

• Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
• Define requirements, tasks, and resources associated with SEO strategy
• Manage and execute implementation of SEO strategy
• Communication to team and management on strategy/project development, timelines, and results
• Implement and administer search engine programmes (XML sitemaps, webmaster tools)
• Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and SEO reports.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a SEO related role or SEO related certificate, with a broad-based knowledge of web analytics, page speed performance, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, UX design elements and how they affect/represent SEO performance.
