Create, design, and develop a web presence to support strategic communications, including providing a central web site for employee communications, newsletters, bulletins, informational materials, and other strategic communication products for internal or external audiences. Work with government organizations by participating in envisioning, defining, designing, and providing SharePoint administrative support under limited supervision, including supporting day-to-day operations and administration of a large IT directorate's internal and external web sites. Provide web administration and design support, including project management assistance, such as management activities for the office and the design and implementation of office document repositories, such as various technologies and the design and implementation of SharePoint sites and pages for office groups, as needed. Provide document storage and management for the directorate. Interact directly with the client to capture and evaluate how their business and knowledge management requirements will impact the current client systems. Assist with supporting the client by providing input on any stage of the knowledge management and development life cycle, as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with software development or SharePoint
Experience with developing, maintaining, and updating the content of web sites
Experience with developing code and maintaining web-based applications
DOT .NET, WORKFLOWS, INFOPATH, SHAREPOINT ONLINE, SHAREPOINT DESIGNER, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, MS OFFICE, ADOBE.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with SharePoint Designer 2013
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and be proactive
Ability to build trust with clients and maintain excellent working relationships with onsite staff, including daily contact with client and leadership staff
Ability to advise and assist with a design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings.
