Required Skills

6 to 8 years of overall software experience
Should have good troubleshooting, database recovery, performance tuning and shell scripting skills.
Strong data analysis skills.
Strong understanding of SDLC and best development practices
Good understanding of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing concepts
Acumen and willingness to learn and support new programming languages or reporting tools.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to independently engage all stakeholders at onsite and offshore.
Willingness to troubleshoot and support critical issues during non-working hours

Desired Skills

Experience as a composite 7.0 developer (Strong experience in Composite SQL)
HANA modeling – Native HANA
Knowledge of ERP SAP, SAP HANA, Tableau, WebFocus
Experience of ETL tools, preferably Talend

Responsibilities

Install, support and tune third party software products. Assist in customization of third party software products and provides technical support to the application teams to insure software is operating in good working order.
Create, deliver and maintain technical documentation as necessary to insure proper use of changed and newly implemented efforts.
Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts.
Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics.
Creation of application databases, creation of maintenance plans and jobs, user creation and maintenance, database log space monitoring and maintenance.
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO),using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Education

IT Graduate (BE, B.Tech, MCA) preferred.
Experience of working in Captive is a plus.
