About the role: This role entails navigating and identifying weak spots, constantly designing better and creative ways to break software and identifying potential problems. You would use your knowledge of testing to influence better software design, promote proper engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across application areas in the Logistics domain. You would also be required to learn/contribute/build new frameworks using Kotlin/TestNG for both backend tests on a distributed microservices architecture and Native Mobile apps on Android/IOS platforms.

What You'll Do

Contribute to the test strategy, plan, automation infrastructure and execution of the prioritised roadmap for your product area

Work with developers and designers to ship features and product improvements

Work on mobile platforms (IOS, Android) for our consumer and driver-facing apps along with functional automation using Appium with Java/Kotlin

Work on improving API tests coverage using Java/Kotlin and TestNG

Write load test scripts in Python

Work with developer team to review code changes and create a robust automation suite covering functional, integration aspects across apps in different countries

Understand customer data and analytics to identify areas of improvement and bring data focus during the feature discussions
What You'll Need

B.Tech/BCA or M.Tech/MCA degree or equivalent practical experience

4+ years of experience working as an SDET/Test/Quality Engineer, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale products

As a fast learner and team player, you’re comfortable teaching yourself new skills quickly and can thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment while making strong technical individual contributions

Able to critically think about requirements/specs and use cases from testing/automation perspective and having a growth mindset towards work

Passionate about writing scalable test automation frameworks and utilities

Polyglot programmer who codes fluently in Java and/or Python and has experience with test frameworks (XUnit/BDD style) like Cucumber, TestNG. (Kotlin experience is desired but not mandatory)

Analytical and data-driven, you love digging into the data/product to understand the overall picture and define & measure the appropriate level of test coverage (manual/automation) and do risk analysis
