Designation: Sourcing Specialist

Eligibility Criteria :

Any graduate with 3 to 4 years of experience.

Preferred skills /Knowledge:

Product sourcing and execution operation knowledge

Knowledge of hard home industry, suppliers, factories (Preferred)

Cook & dine - cookware (food preparation),baking, kitchen gadgets, stainless steel metal, canisters, jars.

Home décor - Candles, fragrance, lanterns, wall decoration, table decoration

Home management - Ironing boards, covers, plastic food storage, containers etc

Microsoft Excel

Power point

Analytical Skill

Job Objectives:

Manage the demand and execution side of sourcing to ensure timely execution of orders

Train and educate suppliers on Walmart process and procedures

Identify the right suppliers and factories to ensure capability and timely order execution.

Ensure product quality, delivery and price objectives are met or exceeded.

Support, coordinate and follow up sourcing activities with cross functional teams/suppliers.

Manage sourcing operational tasks including tools and information to ensure accurate and timely execution of orders .

Compilation of key reports and data

Track T&A and WIP to ensure on-time order execution, proactively identifying potential product and production issues.

Develop knowledge of suppliers capabilities, capacity and performance and contribute to the right placement decisions.

Support cost negotiations based on an understanding of component pricing.

Coordinate sourcing efforts with cross functional teams for the respective Dept/Category

Involve Cross Functional Teams to achieve quality, price and delivery requirements.

Ensure accurate and consistent execution of component costing.

Ensure all supplier quotations and samples are completed in a timely manner for appropriate decision making.

Execute placements based on supplier capability, capacity, quality & delivery performance.

Maintain/monitor and update the performance data of each supplier on a regular basis..

Coordinate with replenishment team in daily operations.

Drive sustainability initiatives with suppliers in alignment with MQE team.

Contribute towards relevant business reports and recaps to better understand and manage the business.

Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects/tasks as needed or directed

Understanding of basic production and product manufacturing

Highly motivated with high sense of urgency and initiative; Takes ownership.

Able to work under pressure.

Good negotiation skills in working with suppliers on product and price.

Able to coordinate efforts of cross functional associates and work together in a positive and collaborative manner.

Able to manage multiple projects and timelines and keep them on track.

Good problem solving skills.

Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Excellent command of English; Good communication skills

Salary offered: 8 to 9 lakhs per Annum
