GENERAL
SUMMARY OF POSITION ·
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for :- o Sourcing
and management of IGBU finished-goods/products & others
suppliers/portfolio as assigned. o Alternate
sources to minimize supply/price risk. o Supplier
management via Quarterly Business Review and supply agreement. o To
assist on commercial negotiation as and when required. | |||

RESPONSIBILITIES &
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES | |||
·
Negotiate
with suppliers for better commercial pricing and terms ·
Develop
and implement the price review mechanism with the suppliers. ·
Lead
and work closely with regional / global associates on sourcing activities and
projects in this category ·
Implement
sourcing strategies that bring long term and sustainable benefits to Ansell
India IGBU. ·
Identify,
lead and manage sourcing initiatives and projects. ·
To
provide timely monthly report on Sourcing projects, supplier performance and initiatives ·
Ensure
appropriate systems, processes and key performance indicators are in place. ·
Conduct
Supplier Performance Review with key suppliers ·
Develop
and work closely with existing and potential suppliers to ensure that they
meet the company quality assurance, regulatory , risk management requirements and supplier
code of conduct. ·
Gather
and provide market intelligence on new and existing suppliers, new products,
new material, pricing and new technology for assigned product / supplier
portfolio. ·
To
ensure all suppliers have valid contract at all time. ·
To
manage project or task as and when assigned to you. | |||
KEY
POSITION REQUIREMENTS | |||
Education | |||
·
Tertiary education in any
disciple and with minimum of 3~5 year’s experience in procurement, sourcing,
logistics, material and supply chain management ·
Mature with strong personal
integrity and well developed interpersonal and communication skills ·
Able to lead and coach. | |||
Job
Experience ·
minimum of 3~5 years experience
in “procurement”, “sourcing”, “logistics”, “material and “supply chain
management” in managerial level ·
Mature with strong personal
integrity and well developed interpersonal and communication skills ·
Able to lead and coach. | |||
Knowledge
and Skills ·
Hands-on experience and strong
commitment in providing agreed customers service level and excellent
negotiation skills. ·
Analytical and critical
thinking skills ·
Computer literate in Microsoft
application software ·
Knowledge & work experience
in IGBU finished-goods (products/performance) is preferable. ·
Ability to communicate across
all levels internally/externally and across geographies | |||
