Suppliers

·         Discuss on delivery plans with Suppliers and expedite with Suppliers for material deliveries and services

·         Review contracts & discuss with supplier for compliance in documentations.

·         Responsible for maximising overall supplier performance to meet Metso’s business objectives

·         Develop a structured supplier performance management program for critical suppliers to assess capabilities, KPI’s and improvement initiatives; and to manage supply chain risks.

·         Regular co-ordination for documentations completion activities related to site and all entries in SAP.

Business Alignment and Support

·         Align with internal departments to fully understand their requirements, to form strong stakeholder relationships, and to provide procurement support.

·         Support the Metso business line strategies and requirements and proactively drive initiatives to meet objectives.

·         Collaboratively work with Strategic sourcing for implementation of sourcing initiatives.

Operational Procurement

·         Closely monitor and manage supplier performance, in conjunction with the Site Manager & Strategic Procurement Manager, to ensure strong levels of operational procurement performance are achieved.

·         Gather all procurement related data & requirement from teams and work closely with Strategic procurement team.

·         Support operational service team in delivery expediting, managing pricing issues, managing quality issues and supplier escalation.

Other Responsibilities

·         Support the continuous improvement of sourcing processes and procedures, ensuring best procurement practices and procedures according to the Metso Code of Conduct.

·         Ensure that all material/services details are updated in SAP as per requirement.
