NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Storage Services Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA),India (IN).

• Design, install and administer storage systems, processes and enhancements for complex high traffic, business critical communications and/or network-based (cloud) product systems.
• Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS) physical and virtual tape devices.
• Develop solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication.
• Assist with the implementation of new or additional storage technology to improve infrastructure service locally and remotely.
  
  

Requirements For This Role Include

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Eager to learn and apply acquired knowledge.
• Requires 5-7 years relevant experience in NetApp, SAN/NAS and general storage technologies.
• Investigates storage area network / network attached storage issues and provides resolution on all but the most complex standard systems and applications following standard incident, change request and problem management processes.
• Provides primary support for medium level projects and programs which include the need from storage area network/network attached storage skills.
• Point of contact for storage projects, which require less than 30 days to complete.
• Collects data for senior technical staff to assist in solution design.
• Commerce graduate with English as a compulsory subject.
  
  

Preferences

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

The availability for this position may be off or on shift and will be determined by the hiring manager. The shift timings can be changed as required by the client. Additionally, resources will likely have to work overtime and on weekends.
