Store Manager Job Description
1. Checking the staff grooming standards, uniform and maintaining proper timings regularly.
2. Visit the entire store once opened in the morning to find out any discrepancy in order initiate corrective action plan.
3. Briefing the staff about their regular activities to be performed in the stores.
4. Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
5. Maintain and check all the assets in the store are functioning properly.
6. Maintain and empower store staff by providing orientation and training employees.
7. Implement collaboration between staff members to develop a productive work environment.
8. Improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent
9. Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to team members and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues.
10. Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with safety, health and sanitation best practices and regulations.
11. Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
12. Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion.
13. Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of all store operations, including the timely submission of all personnel paperwork, preparing and submitting reports.
14. Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
15. Ensure standards for quality, customer service and respond to customer complaints and feedback
