Primary objectives

· Execute Test Strategy and Approach, including objectives, overall phasing and testing methodology and standards

· Ownership of manual and automated test cases

· Gather data for test metrics, including code coverage, quality and performance

· Monitor execution of testing efforts; including meeting committed delivery dates for released and soon to be released applications and components

· Monitor the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of defects) is properly addressed. If not, define the defect tracking process and incorporate it into the overall development process

· Track timeline and schedules for testing efforts

· Ensure Test Plans and entry/exit criteria are being followed

· Maintain quality testing standards and procedures

· Communicate effectively with customers as appropriate

· Facilitate structured walk-through and peer reviews

· Execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality and usability testing

· Lead/support other Testers on the testing team and manage testing process questions and/or issues

· Execute test models (plans, data and scripts)
