Role/Purpose:

The Interaction Designer II delivers quality insights within deadlines, aligned to market brand and

business strategy. The Interaction Designer II helps support and mentor other UX team members,

particularly Interaction Designer I, on projects and UX best practices. The Interaction Designer II

understands the value of experience design in business.

Responsibilities:

 Create well-thought-out designs based on user research, design patterns, and UCD principles

and be able to explain your design rationale to cross- functional teams.

 Deliver artifacts needed to help development teams (ex. wireframes, proto- types, visual assets,

user flows, wireframe flows, and IA modeling).

 Be perceived as highly responsive to questions from product and development teams.

 Complete projects on time with open communication of roadblocks, status, and timelines.

 Properly manage expectations.

 Lead collaborative design sessions with cross-functional teams including, rapid design sessions

and collaborative white-boarding sessions.

 Manage multiple projects at a time.

 Complete projects unsupervised in a self-directed manner.

 Demonstrate familiarity with user research methods and assist others with research.

 Demonstrate mastery of core design tools.

Requirements/Qualifications:

 Two or more years of experience with a focus on creating rich, high-volume websites and web

applications.

 Bachelor’s degree or higher in UxD, HCI, or equivalent professional experience.

 Practical experience of user experience methodology and practices including user-centered

design within an Agile work environment.

 Must be self-motivated and self-managed.

 Experience with a range of low, medium, and high-fidelity prototyping tools.

 Experience in creating concept sketches, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and design specs

using both hand skills i.e., sketching, as well as computer aided tools e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD,

InVision and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
