• Develop sales strategy to achieve defined targets

• Credit policy, understanding & implementation of the policy.
• Effective control on collections & distributor claims.
3. Distribution
• Build strong distribution network – develop the existing one for maximum profitability
• Empanel new distributors while adhering to the corporate policy
• Tap primary distribution in unplugged areas in the territory
4. Marketing & Sales Promotion
• Market Intelligence - Update self & management on competitor activity
• Partnering with Marketing Team
• Participation in development, Implementation and feedback of marketing and sales promotion plans
• Pilot testing of new products and provide feedback
• Coordinate with Product Management Team for promotional activities
• Judicious control on distribution of Samples & Promotional inputs
• Identify sales points for promotion & ensure adequate merchandising is present
• Brand Protection : Alignment of marketing & promotional activities with the guidelines & SOPs
• Implement promotional programs for dealers/distributors and end customers as advised by the Management in a compliant manner
5. Reporting & Administration
• Effective accounting, MIS and reporting systems for self & team as per the specified norms
• Ensure that Process adherence & discipline is key to the assignment
6. People Management
• Team Management: Build a result oriented & well motivated team.
• Identify development needs by providing timely feedback to team.
• Focus on employee retention. Build pipeline of potential candidates for quick closure of vacant positions.
7. Financial Discipline
• To keep a thorough check on the Expenses in the Area.
• Breakage / expiry control.
• Strict adherence to business policy relating to order execution, sales returns & cheque bouncing.
WHO YOU ARE:
• Post graduate with a proven Pharma / Veterinary Sales background. Preferably Post Graduate in Marketing.
• 5-7 years of Industry experience.
• Proven track record in leading and motivating a team.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
• All interested employees across functions and roles with relevant qualifications and experience can apply. Employees who have spent a minimum of 2
