About the Role 

We are seeking to fill the role of Assessment legal Intern. As a member of our legal team, the candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our commercial contracts and strategic handling of ongoing commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolutions. The candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of our client relationships, contractual obligations, and legal disputes. This role will be for the litigation case and the court procedure 

What will you do? 

1. Commercial Contracts Management 

Negotiate, draft, and review commercial contracts with clients 

Analyze and assess the legal implications of contract terms and conditions 

Handle negotiations on deviations received from customers 

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all contracts 

2. Litigation and Dispute Resolution 

Provide strategic guidance on handling ongoing commercial litigation 

Make informed decisions on initiating disputes for outstanding payments 

Instruct counsels on ongoing commercial disputes 

Implement alternate dispute resolution methods to efficiently resolve conflicts 

3. Collections Support 

Offer legal support to the Collections Team for timely invoice payment collection 

Issue legal communications to clients for the collection of overdue payments 

4. Legal Compliance 

Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting commercial contracts, Company Law. 

Ensure that all contractual and legal obligations are met by the organization

• Juris Doctor (JD/LLB/LLM) degree from an law school 

• Admission to the bar and in good standing 

• Experience in commercial contracts management and litigation 

• Strong negotiation, drafting, and reviewing skills 

• Excellent understanding of commercial laws and regulations 

• Ability to provide strategic guidance on dispute resolution 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills 

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
