Job description for Relationship Manager
· Customer Service Skills: Relationship Managers will need to be able to speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs, and helping communicate options for them.
· Communication Skills: They should speak to customers about a product's different features, and answer any questions they might have.
· Being able to bounce back in case of a lost deal is also a key element for the role of a Relationship Manager.
· Proven experience as a Relationship Manager or relevant position
· Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills
· Good analytical/critical thinking
· Intuitive to customers’ needs
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
· A background in customer service or sales is a plus
· Must understand customer relationship management (CRM)
· Strategic thinker and ability to analyze and solve problems quickly
· Ability to work well with others and lead a team
· Knowledge of math and numbers
· Attentive to detail and organized
· Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage several jobs at one time
